- Bundle identifier:
com.yolanda.atrapaestrellas - Platforms: iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play)
2. Quick summary
Atrapa las Estrellas does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The game runs entirely offline. It does not use analytics tools, does not display ads, has no in-app purchases, and does not share information with third parties.
3. What data we process
3.1. Personal data
None. The game does not request or collect personal data such as name, email, address, phone number, advertising identifiers (IDFA / Google Advertising ID), location, or device data.
3.2. Locally stored data
The game stores only on the user's device, using the WebView's local storage (localStorage), the following information:
- Local high score: the highest score reached by the user.
This data:
- Never leaves the user's device.
- Is not sent to any server of the developer or any third party.
- Is not associated with any user identity.
- Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing the app's data from the operating system settings.
4. Purpose
The sole purpose of storing the local high score is to allow the user to view their highest score within the game itself, in order to improve their experience. It is not used for any other purpose.
5. Legal basis (GDPR)
Since no personal data processing takes place, the legal bases of Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) do not apply to the ordinary functioning of the game. The local storage of the high score is strictly technical information required for the functionality requested by the user when using the application (legitimate interest / performance of the requested service, Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR), but it does not contain information that could identify a natural person.
6. User rights
Even though no personal data is processed, in compliance with the GDPR and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), the user is informed of the right to:
- Access their data.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing.
- Data portability.
- Restriction of processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis.
- Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es, or any other competent EU supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, please write to yolanda2601@gmail.com, indicating the right you wish to exercise. Since no personal data is stored on servers, in most cases there will be no personal information about the user that can be provided, rectified, or erased.
7. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), it is confirmed that:
- No personal data is collected from California residents.
- No personal data is sold (the developer does not sell data under any circumstance).
- No personal data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
- California residents retain the right to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising their rights. They may do so by writing to yolanda2601@gmail.com.
8. Children
The application is rated suitable for all ages. No personal data is collected from any user, including children under 13 (COPPA, USA) and children under 14 (Spain, Art. 7 LOPDGDD). As no information is collected, it is not possible to inadvertently process information about minors.
If a parent or legal guardian believes their child may have provided data through the application, they may contact yolanda2601@gmail.com to verify.
9. Cookies and local storage
The application does not use cookies in the sense of Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), as it is not a website and no identifiers are stored in external browsers.
The game uses the internal WebView's localStorage only to store the local high score. This storage:
- Is technically necessary to provide the functionality requested by the user.
- Does not contain personal data.
- Is not accessible from outside the application itself.
- Can be deleted by the user by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data from the system settings.
10. International data transfers
No international data transfers take place, as there is no data to transfer.
11. Data retention
The local high score is retained on the device until the user uninstalls the application or clears its data. The developer does not retain any data.
12. Security
Since no personal data is stored on servers, security risks associated with the processing of personal data do not exist. The local high score is stored in the area protected by the operating system (application sandbox).
13. Third-party services
The application does not integrate third-party SDKs that collect data, does not use analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Flurry, etc.), does not display ads (AdMob, Unity Ads, etc.), and does not contain embedded social networks.
The stores through which the application is distributed (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) may collect their own data according to their own privacy policies, which are independent of this developer:
14. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal changes or changes in how the game works (for example, if analytics or advertising were added in the future). The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Users are advised to review it periodically.
Any substantial change involving the processing of personal data will be prominently notified within the application itself before it takes effect.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This policy is governed by:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
- Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
- Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) for California residents.
- Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for US users under 13.
For users residing in Spain, the competent courts shall be those of the consumer's domicile when so established by applicable consumer protection regulations.
